📝 Adding Notes / Reminders / Tasks

Say any of these

remind me to [task]
Example: remind me to call mom tomorrow

Creates a reminder/task.
remember that [info]
Example: remember that the meeting is at 3pm

Saves a note (information to recall later).
make a note that [info]
Example: make a note that I need to dust the servers

Adds a note to your list.
add a note/reminder/task
Example: add a task to fix the login bug

Adds an item using a more explicit phrase.
don't forget to [task]
Example: don't forget to buy milk

Adds a reminder-style task.
don't let me forget [task]
Example: don't let me forget about the deadline

Adds a reminder with emphasis.
save a note about [topic]
Example: save a note about the API changes

Creates a note anchored to a topic phrase.
put this on my list
Example: put pick up dry cleaning on my list

Adds the item phrased as a list entry.
I need to remember [thing]
Example: I need to remember to water the plants

Adds a note/reminder framed as memory.

Adds a short note quickly.

✅ Completing / Marking Done

Marks items complete

I finished [task]
Example: I finished the laundry

Marks a matching task done.
I completed [task]
Example: I completed the report

Marks a matching task done.
done with [task]
Example: done with the server maintenance

Marks a matching task done.
mark [task] as done
Example: mark task 1 as done

Completes the named/numbered item.
mark #1 done

Completes item number 1.
check off [task]
Example: check off buy groceries

Marks a matching task done.
cross off [task]
Example: cross off the first one

Marks the most recent/contextual item done.

Using numbers:
I finished #1 completes the first item • mark task 2 as done completes the second item • completed #3 completes the third item

Using keywords:
I finished the laundry finds the item containing “laundry” • done with the server stuff finds the item containing “server”

🗑️ Deleting Notes

Remove one or everything

Delete a specific note

delete note #1

Deletes the first note.
remove task 2

Deletes the second task.
delete the note about [topic]
Example: delete the note about groceries

Deletes a matching note by topic text.
remove the reminder about [topic]
Example: remove the reminder about the meeting

Deletes a matching reminder by topic text.
forget about [task]
Example: forget about the dentist appointment

Deletes a matching item by keywords.
cancel the reminder
Example: cancel the reminder about the call

Deletes a matching reminder (context or keyword-based).

Delete ALL notes

At first we had text commands for this, but there is nothing worse than an error nuking a full notes file. If you need a full reset just email us your username and we are happy to accomodate :D
